James brings over 35 years of experience in landscape installation and maintenance to Solid Ground Landscape. He holds a BA in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado Boulder, joined the company as co-owner in 2006, and assumed full ownership in 2024.

Travis brings over 30 years of experience in sales and customer relations. He focuses on understanding what each client actually needs and keeping the projects he coordinates moving in the right order.

Peter has over 30 years of hands-on experience in custom residential landscape work and has been with Solid Ground since 2009. He is known for meticulous project management on the ground.
Construction Foreman
Eduardo joined Solid Ground in 2007 and specialises in boulder work and water features. He has a natural affinity for boulder work, and it shows in the stone settings he builds.

Matthew started with Solid Ground in March 2012 as a construction foreman and now oversees multiple crews, keeping several projects running at once without losing the detail on any of them.

Jesse joined in 2018 and has built his expertise over five years in flagstone, boulder work and rock walls, the stonework the company is best known for.

Payson earned his Master Nursery Certification in 2020 and was nominated for Young Retailer of the Year in 2023. He specialises in native plants and looks after clients from first enquiry onwards.
Nursery ManagerBS Environmental Studies, Southern Oregon University
Gloria has over 25 years in Southern Oregon and a BS in Environmental Studies from SOU, earned in 2011. Her background in native plant identification shapes what comes out of our nursery.
Office Manager
Jenna has more than 20 years of office management and administrative experience and relocated to Southern Oregon in 2017. She keeps the scheduling, paperwork and the phone line running.
